PBR Metal Panel

Untitled design(23).png

The PBR (Purlin Bearing Rib) panel is a strong, exposed-fastener metal panel with a deep, rigid rib design that provides excellent structural support. Available in multiple gauges, including heavy-duty 26 and 24 gauge steel, it’s suitable for long spans and versatile roofing or siding projects.

PBR panels are valued for their strength, durability, and classic industrial appearance. The deep ribs make them ideal for agricultural buildings, commercial structures, shops, and garages. Their rigid design helps resist wind and snow loads, while the wide variety of gauges allows flexibility for both residential and commercial applications. PBR panels are also easy to install and pair seamlessly with trims and accessories for a professional finish.

Panel Profile

PBR panels use a high rib profile with a purlin bearing leg that seats securely on the support framing. This profile helps increase spanning strength and provides a positive fit at each rib for consistent weather protection.

Available Color Options

These are some of the color options available for PBR panels, engineered for weather protection and aesthetic appeal. Ask about Crinkle and Premium Print Colors.

SMP COLOR CHART
FOR 26 GA

SMP paint systems are developed using a blend of polyester and silicone agents. Silicone acts to improve the gloss retention and weather resistance of the polyester coating.  SMP pre-painted steel has been used for decades and is preferred by many building owners due to the relative durability of the coating and the budget-friendly cost as compared to other more expensive paint systems.

PVDF COLOR CHART
FOR 24 GA

PVDF is a resin made up of about 70% polyvinylidene thermoplastic fluoropolymer and 30% acrylic. With trademarked names like Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000®, PVDF resins are the best protective coatings to withstand extreme temperatures, sun exposure, and humidity in the atmosphere. Therefore, you can expect less chalking and fading with PVDF. Pigments also stay brighter for longer than an SMP system, as well as staying cooler, due to reflecting the sun’s energy to dissipate heat.

TR Ridge

Ridge Cap

Covers the peak of the roof to help shed water off both sides.

W Valley

Valley Trim

Channels water safely down roof valleys where two slopes meet.
